NOVAMEX

NOVAMEX has launched a demanding ecological quality charter, more restrictive than Ecolabel criteria. This charter has the following clear advantages:

  • All surface actives are taken from plants (palm trees, coconut trees, beet, corn, wheat, canola, etc.) Most of the other organic components are also taken from plants (citric acid, bio-ethanol, etc.),
  • Our perfumes include no known allergens (as defined in EC regulation 648/2004),
  • No phosphates are used in the different compositions. No phthalates, diethylene glycol, formaldehyde or formaldehyde precursors,
  • All of our colorants are food quality, if used,
  • The substances used in our surface cleaning products (multi-purpose cleaners, floor cleaners, anti-scale products, washing up liquids, degreasers) all hold "food contact" approval,
  • Products are highly concentrated as far as possible. (e.g.: 3 litres of washing liquid is enough for 40 runs vs 3 litres of standard liquid and 25 runs) leading to reduced packaging waste and volumes of goods in transport,
  • Refills are often available for our products,
  • Our formulas are not tested on animals,
  • Products prepared and produced in France. A 100% green attitude also involves reducing the pollution emitted during the transport of products between production sites and consumers. This approach also protects employment in France.

The NOVAMEX group currently employs more than 110 people.

QUADRIPACK

The NOVAMEX QUADRIPACK subsidiary comprises a production site for ecological cleaning and body hygiene products and is located in Saint Benoît. QUADRIPACK has particularly committed to :

  • Meeting ecological manufacturing requirements to ensure greater respect for people and the environment,
  • Providing information on the prevention of risks and the protection of the environment,
  • Controlling its energy consumption and effluent discharges,
  • Optimising storage conditions on the production site.

This 12-hectare site comprises approximately :

  • 30,000 m² of production and storage buildings,
  • 600 m² of Research and Development laboratories,
  • 1000 m² of offices.

This Ecolabel site also holds ISO 14001 certification issued by AFNOR. QUADRIPACK decided to obtain ISO 14001 version 2004 certification and comply with appendix III of the order of 10 May 2000 for the development of its production site.

QUADRIPACK and NOVAMEX opted for transparency in their manufacturing processes to propose 100% ecological products.
